Rewards

Your Khalsa Family Retreat ID card is equipped with NFC technology. After completing specific tasks, you will be eligible to earn rewards for your Misl. A Sevadar will scan your card, and the rewards will be allocated accordingly.
Here’s a quick overview of the process:
Task Completion
Complete tasks like reading Hukamnama, leading Paath, washing up, or attending workshops.
Points Allocation
Tasks are assigned points based on their difficulty and significance.
Repeating Tasks
Tasks can be repeated, but rewards are given only once per task.
Collecting Rewards
Get your card scanned by a Sevadaar or visit the reward desk.
Leaderboards
Check the leaderboards on screens or via QR codes around the retreat.
Recognition and Rewards
Achievements will be recognised at the end of the retreat.
Remember, all your points are doubled this year if you can memorise the shabad and recite it to a sevadaar without looking!
Embracing Sangat and Parupkar
This points system is more than just a competition; it’s a celebration of Sangat and the Sikh concept of Parupkar (selfless service). Each participant’s contribution, regardless of skill level, strengthens the collective success of the entire community. We recognise that in our Sangat, individuals may excel in areas where others may need support, embodying the true spirit of unity.
A Sikhi Spin
In the spirit of fun and camaraderie, think of this points system as a Sikh-themed game where everyone is a winner. Regardless of the house outcome, each participant contributes to the shared laughter, joy, and memories we’ll create together. So, let’s dive in, have a blast, and make this Khalsa Family Retreat an unforgettable experience!
May your laughter be loud, your points plentiful, and your hearts full of the spirit of the Khalsa.
